Networking
I have taken Cisco CCNA and CCNP level courses that have covered routing, switching, VoIP, QoS, Port Security, ACLs, Wireless, Wireless Security, Cabling, and OSI Layered Troubleshooting.
System Administration
I have installed and configured Windows (2003 & 2008) and Linux (CentOS & Others) servers of various purposes on rack server equipment and am familiar with Active Directory and basic Linux equivalent services.
Programming
I currently have an Associates degree in application development and am comfortable with C++ and C# object oriented coding. I’m also proficient with HTML, PHP, CSS and SQL. Limited experience with VBS, Bash and Java Script.
Web Development
Although I have only had intro courses on this topic, I enjoy doing it. My work in this area consists of this website and my class projects showcased here . With the exception of two labs, I have coded everything there from scratch.
Computer Hardware
I have had a couple computer hardware courses over the years and have fixed most computer hardware issues throughout my internships and college career. I have also successfully researched and built two desktop computers from scratch as well as maintained my own rack servers, desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
Internet Technology
I have experience configuring and using VMware virtualzation software on Windows servers and desktops. I have also used network software and hand tools, such as Spiceworks and Cisco devices, to monitor and troubleshoot networks, both wired and wireless.
